The Service League of Greenville, as its name signifies, is a non-profit service organization that was founded in 1938. Members of this organization donate willingly of their time and talents for the benefit of the community. In fact, as many as 170 members of the Service League total 17,000 hours of community service each year – from Vidant Medical Center, the Red Cross bloodmobile, the Ronald McDonald House, Children's Miracle Network, McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge, to the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice. Service League members volunteer for these and many other worthwhile causes.
Over the years, $9 Million in gifts and pledges for equipment and capital building projects has been of benefit to the former Pitt General and Pitt County Memorial Hospital, and the current Vidant Medical Center. By volunteering to assist with ongoing hard work and heartfelt endeavors, The Service League of Greenville brings hope and comfort to our Greenville and Pitt County, NC communities.
